Kashless Ends Rewards Program
Seattle-based Kashless, the online, reuse-focused marketplace headed by Martin Tobias, told its users Friday evening that it is ending its rewards program. The firm, which had launched an effort with RecycleBank in November of last year, had been rewarding members who participated in its reuse program with reward points, which could be redeemed from various companies. Kashless said it had issued over 3 million reward points through the program. In explaining the shutdown, the firm said that due to its "limited resources available" to support the program, it is closing down the reward program.
