Jive Integrates Filtrbox, Spins New Product

Portland-based Jive, a developer of social networking software for the enterprise, said Thursday that it has completed its integration of Filtrbox, which it recently purchased, and incorporated the product into its Jive Market Engagement product. Jive--which said it accomplished the integration in less than 90 days--said the integration allows its users to tap social media monitoring, which can be used to practively monitor brand and product issues, competitive threats, collaborate on responses, and more. Jive said it is looking to replace the "patchwork" of alerts, people and email used to monitor social media by most firms today.
