Microvision Ships Pico Projector Samples

Redmond-based Microvision, a developer of miniature projection display products, said today that it has started shipping evaluation samples of a new product to customers. Microvision said it is shipping samples of its PicoP laser projection display engine to customers. The firm said the new product shrinks its ASIC to half the size and weight of prior products, with support for color WVGA (848x480) images. Pricing on the new product was not announced.
