Institute for Systems Biology Gets $6M From VC
Seattle nonprofit research center The Institute for Systems Biology said Monday that it has received a $6M gift from an un-named California venture capitalist and philanthropist, to support the organization. According to the ISB, the funding will help it move to a new building, doubling its space for research and core technology; recruit additional faculty; and support research in all areas. The Institute for Systems Biology said the venture capitalist wishes to remain anonymous.
