Moeller Design Acquired By 3D Systems

Seattle-based Moeller Design, a provider of prototyping and casting services for the aerospace and medical device market, has been acquired by South Carolina-based 3D Systems Corporation. 3D systems announced the buy on Tuesday. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Moeller Design was established in 1989, and provides urethane cast production used for prototyping of low volume parts. According to 3D Systems, Moeller Design's owner Dave Moeller becomes General Manager of its 3Dproparts Premium Services Division, which will continue to be based on the west coast.
