F5 Wins SEGA

Seattle-based F5 Networks, a provider of network load balancing and other network devices, said today that SEGA Corporation is deploying the firm's F5 ARX product. F5 said that SEGA, which is based in Tokyo, is using the product to simplify its file management and archiving systems. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed. F5 explains that SEGA is using the firm's file virtualization solutions for an automated storage tiering strategy for storing high quality video and multimedia files.
