Uptake Medical Gets $4.5M More

Seattle-based Uptake Medical, a developer of treatments for emphysema, has raised $4.5M in an ongoing, $13.3M round, according to a regulatory filing from the firm today. No details on the funding have been announced. The filing indicates that ONSET Ventures and Maverick Capital, Ltd., continue to have seats on the firm's board. The firm has previously also raised capital from GBS Venture Partners, Affinity Capital, Arboretum Ventures, and WRF Capital. Base on earlier filings, the firm raised an initial $3.36M at the August to kick off this round. More information »
