Microsoft Buys Interactive Supercomputing
Microsoft said last night that it has acquired Interactive Supercomputing (ISC), a developer of parallel computing products. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. ISC makes parallel computing products for the high performance computing (HPC) market. According to Microsoft, it will integrate ISC's technology into future versions of its products. ISC's team, including its CEO, Bill Blake, are joining Microsoft at its New England Research & Development Center in Cambridge, MA.
