Digimarc Gains $600K Military Contract
Beaverton, Oregon-based Digimarc, a developer of digital identification software and technology, reported today that it has landed a $600,0000 contract to enhance U.S. military video intelligence systems. According to the firm, the contract was for the SmartData program by CACI International Incorporated, and covers integrating its technology into unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Digimarc said the contract covers use of its technology in improving collection of surveillance and reconnaissance imagery.
