HubSpan, IBM Sign Customer

Seattle-based Hubspan, a developer of business integration software, reported this week that a customer has implemented a new, cloud-based integration software platform developed by the firm along with IBM. Hubspan said the customer, Mayer Electric Supply, is one of the first firms using its WebSpan product to allow its customers to integrate with its online catalog and e-procurement services. Financial aspects of the deal were not disclosed. IBM and Hubspan said in may that they would integrate Hubspan's product with IBM Websphere. Hubspan's product helps connect disparate corporate systems together using software-as-a-service APIs.
