Hubspan Ties Into IBM
Seattle-based Hubspan, a developer of software used to integrate business software, said today that it has tied with IBM to launch a new software called WebSpan. According to the two firms, the new software links Hubspan's integration platform and IBM WebSphere into a single platform. Financial details of the partnership were not disclosed. The software-as-a-service platform allows businesses to link together various partners and business processes, and is being targeted at procurement, supply chain, epayments, logistics, and e-commerce integration. Both IBM and Hubspan's sales networks will be selling the solution. Hubspan is venture backed by Hunt Ventures, Intel Capital, Scale Venture Partners, and SeaPoint Ventures.
