Smith & Tinker Raises $29M
Bellevue-based Smith & Tinker said this morning that it has raised $29M in a venture capital funding round. The firm, which develops online, multiplayer games, said the funding was led by DCM, and also included Alsop Louie Partners, DCM, Foundry Group, Leo Capital Holdings and Vulcan Capital. Smith & Tinker runs Nanovor, a multi-player PC game. The firm says that it is looking to merge the "best of a game studio, entertainment shop, and toy company" aimed at kids. More information »
