Mentor Graphics Gets Win At Hauwei

Wilsonville, Oregon-based electronic design automation product provider Mentor Graphics has scored a win at networking hardware firm Hauwei, the firm said Wednesday. According to Mentor, Hauwei's HiSilicon ASIC design center will use the firm's Veloce system-level verification product. Financial impact of the deal was not disclosed. Mentor's Veloce products are used to emulate circuit designs, and used to validate those designs before they are hard wired into ASIC designs. Although Mentor does not disclose pricing on its Veloce systems, the products are generally $500K or more.
