NetMotion Wireless Wins Insurance Firm

Seattle-based NetMotion Wireless, which develops mobile access software, disclosed Wednesday that it has signed on Grange Insurance as a customer. NetMotion said its virtual private network (VPN) management software will be deployed at Grange's network of independent insurance agents, spread across 13 states. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed. NetMotion's VPN tools are used to ensure secure connections between mobile works and corporate servers. Grane Insurance is based in Columbus, Ohio.
