NetMotion Wireless Sold To The Carlyle Group

Seattle-based NetMotion Wireless, the developer of mobile security software, has been sold to private equity investor The Carlyle Group. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. NetMotion Wireless was owned by private equity investor Clearlake Capital Group, which had acquired the company back in 2012. NetMotion was advised by Evercore Partners in the deal, with Atlas Technology Group serving as financial advisor to the company's board.
