RealNetworks In Games Distribution Deal
Seattle-based RealNetworks has inked another distribution channel for its RealGames downloadable games, according to Silicon Valley's hi5. hi5, an operator of a social networking and entertainment site, said Tuesday that it will use RealNetworks as part of a new, downloadable games section on its site. No financial details of the arrangement were announced. hi5 said it would offer 1,500 games from RealGames, which are priced by the game creators, ranging from free trials to titles which cost more than $50.00.
