Clearwire Sets Vegas Launch

Kirkland-based wireless networking provider Clearwire said tuesday that the firm is officially launching its CLEAR 4G service in Las Vegas on July 21st, as the firm continues its nationwide rollout. The rollout in Las Vegas follows the launch of Clearwire's WiMax based network in Atlanta. Clearwire had said in Q1 that Atlanta and Las Vegas were the next two cities on its rollout plans; the firm is also planning to deploy in Chicago, Philadelphia, and Dallas/Ft. Worth this year.
