Intellicheck Mobilisa Wins Telecom Firm

Intellicheck Mobilisa, a developer of wireless technology and identity systems, revealed today that it has landed a multi-million-dollar contract to provide driver's license reading technology and equipment to a "major" telecommunications company. The identity of the customer was not disclosed. Intellicheck Mobilisa said its technology will help the unnamed client process new account applications while reducing data entry errors and validating authenticity. Intellicheck Mobilisa said it has already booked some $1.13 million in new orders under the contract during this quarter. The Port Townsend, Wash.-based firm added that, as a preferred vendor under the same contract, it could receive up to $4 million in additional equipment orders over the next 36 months.
