Azaleos Rolls Out SharePoint Support

Seattle-based Azaleos, a provider of managed Microsoft Exchange email services, said today that it has expanded into the remote monitoring and management of Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft's web portal software. According to Azaleos, it will provide 24x7 management of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server and other infrastructure at the customer's site. The firm said the service--which will monitor not just SharePoint Server, but the associated Internet Information Server (IIS) and SQL Server software required for the software--is aimed at helping companies manage the high cost of managing SharePoint. Azaleos said the new offering will be priced at $15 per user/month. Azaleos is venture backed by Ignition Partners and Second Avenue.
