Azaleos Launches New Services, Trumpets Growth
Seattle-based Azaleos said today that it has launched two new services, and also claimed that adoption of its managed Sharepoint services had a "record setting year" last year. The firm said that its two offerings include Azaleos SharePoint Starter Edition and Azaleos SharePoint Core Edition, two specific configurations of its services targeted at different sizes of SharePoint deployments. SharePoint Starter Edition includes up to 200Gb of storage and up to 1,000 users; SharePoint Core Edition includes 1 TB of storage and up to 10,000 users. The Starter Edition starts at $2,000 per month for services and $26,000 for hardware. Azaleos did not disclose any financials or growth numbers, but said its services are now being used by such companies as Whirlpool, Nintendo of America, Lam Research, and Booz & Co., among others. Azaleos helps to manage Microsoft software deployments--either in-house, or in the cloud--for enterprises.
