Prolifiq Targest Healthcare With New Hire

Prolifiq Software Inc., a publisher of mobile marketing applications for sales professionals, reported Tuesday that it has hired Maureen A. Shaffer as vice president of healthcare. In this role, the Beaverton, Ore.-based firm explained, she will direct the company's efforts in the "increasingly complex regulatory environment" that surrounds the medical device, biotech and pharmaceutical sectors. Prolifiq described Shaffer as a 22-year medical technology marketing veteran who most recently was vice president of marketing for InSet Technologies Inc. Before that, Prolifiq continued, she was vice president of marketing at AtriCure Inc. She has also held marketing management roles with Cordis Corp., United States Surgical and Heartport Inc., Prolifiq noted.
