Strands Targets Personal Finance
Corvallis, Oregon-based Strands, which develops social recommendation and personalization software, said today that it has officially launched its online personal finance service, moneyStrands. The firm said the site will offer free money management features, including tracking of banks and other financial accounts, widgets for highlighting trends in income, debt, and spending, email alerts, community features for comparing information with other users, and more. Strands has had the moneyStrands site in beta since last year, and also acquired NetworthIQ, a developer of financial tools, in May.
