Tableau Software Gets US Auto Parts Win
Seattle-based Tableau Software announced Wednesday that a major online auto parts retailer is using Tableau's product suite to analyze product sales, profitability and pricing. The financial impact of the customer win was not disclosed. Headquartered in Carson, Calif., US Auto Parts Network Inc. carries more than 700,000 items in 4,000 categories. Tableau quoted Sarah Gustafson, US Auto Parts' vice president of business analytics, as having said that her company has gained a greater understanding of key metrics and reduced the time required to pull and manipulate data by switching to Tableau.
