Tableau Software Raises $10M in Series B
Tableau Software announced Monday that it has wrapped up a second round of venture financing worth $10 million. The Seattle-based business intelligence software publisher said existing investor New Enterprise Associates Inc. was singularly responsible for the Series B effort. NEA invested $5 million in Tableau in 2004. Tableau said it will use the latest infusion of capital to fund new product development and to grow its sales channels, particularly in the government and international sectors and with value-added resellers. Forest Baskett, a general partner at NEA, has joined Tableau's board of directors as a result of NEA's involvement, Tableau noted. More information »
