Amazon Launches Used Game Trade-Ins
Amazon.com is looking to bolster video game sales at the firm's site with a new program to accept used video games. Amazon.com just launched a new, effort--still in beta--which allows customers to trade in old computer games, to receive Amazon.com gift cards. According to Amazon, users can trade in games which are in good condition, and worth more than $10, and get an Amazon.com gift card deposited into their account when the game is mailed into the company. The new service allows users to trade in games from Playstation 2, Playstation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, Nintendo DS, and Sony PSP game platforms. The firm then re-sells those used titles on its web site.
