Doyenz Targets Virtualization Automation, Seeks Funding
Bellevue, Washington-based Doyenz said today that it has rolled out a new, managed service focused on virtualization. The firm said its new Doyenz Automated Virtual IT will provide automatic configuration and management of servers and desktops, through virtual appliances. The firm--which says it is backed by "significant" angel funding from private investors from Microsoft, Google, and others--said the service is aimed at helping IT administrators deploy virtual appliances either on-premise or "in the cloud." Pricing details on the service were not disclosed, and the firm said it is in the midst of seeking a Series A funding round.
