EED Merges Brands With Daticon Subsidiary
Electronic Evidence Discovery Inc., a provider of legal information services, announced Monday that it has merged brands with the Daticon LLC subsidiary it acquired in July 2008. Kirkland, Wash.-based EED said the integrated company will be known as Daticon EED and will continue to offer e-discovery services to Fortune 500 corporations and leading law firms. Dave McCann, Daticon EED's president and chief executive, said EED acquired Daticon to expand its service reach in the Northeast and to boost its talent base and service capabilities. McCann added that it was a "natural step" to combine the two companies into a single brand. Daticon was a provider of ase assessment, electronic discovery, consulting and archive services for law firms, corporations and government agencies.
