drugstore.com Signs Pharmacy Firm

Bellevue, Washington-based drugstore.com said Thursday that it has entered into a strategic alliance with Medco Health Solutions, Inc., a pharmacy benefit manager. According to drugstore.com, the deal will allow Medco's members access to an integrated online store for non-prescription and over-the-counter medicines. Financial impact of the deal was not disclosed. Drugstore.com said it will provide technology development, operations, merchandise, fulfillment, and customer care for the online store.
