Attachmate's Hawn Pleads Guilty
Attachmate CEO Jeffrey Hawn has plead guilty, and will pay $157,000 in fines and restitition over his illegal hunting of bison on land he owns in Colorado. Hawn apparently orchestrated a hunt which resulted in the death of 32 bison who had wandered onto his land from a neighbor's herd. Hawn also faces up to 10 days in jail in sentencing in January. Seattle-based Attachmate is a maker of systems management software; Hawn lives in Austin, Texas.
