Vidoop Cuts Staff

Portland-based Videoop, a provider of Internet authentication software, said Monday afternoon that the firm has had to cut its staff. According to a blog post by the firm, the firm had to let go of "several members" of its staff, due to the economy. Exact number of employees was not disclosed. Vidoop develops OpenID software used to authenticate and secure Internet logins.
