Captaris Buy By Open Text Completes

The acquisition of Belleveue, Washington-based Captaris has completed, according to Waterloo, Ontario-based Open Text. Open Text said late Friday that its $131M acquisition makes Captaris a wholly-owned subsidiary of the firm. Captaris was previously publicly traded on the Nasdaq as "CAPA." Open Text announced the acquisition of Captaris in September. Captaris develops document capture, workflow, and management for enterprises.
