Jive Gets Win At Training Firm

Portland, Oregon-based Jive Software, a publisher of enterprise collaboration applications, revealed Wednesday that it has won the business of education and training firm Element K. Jive explained that Element K will use Jive's Clearspace social computing platform to enhance its KnowledgeHub learning management system. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed. Jive Software is venture backed by Sequoia Capital, and competes against firms as Socialtext, Mindtouch, IBM, Microsoft, and others.
