Jive Targets Cloud With Express Offering

Portland-based Jive Software, a provider of collaboration and social networking tools for businesses, announced Monday that the firm has rolled out a cloud-powered version of its products, "Jive Express." The firm said it is tapping Amazon Web Services for the new platform, which allows its customers to deploy Jive's SBS software without having to install software. Jive explained that the new Jive Express offering uses AWS to automaitcally deploy and configure its software, without a traditional IT deployment, and will cost its users $3.00 per user/month.
