Bocada Partners With Quest Software

Bellevue, Wash.-based Bocada Inc. revealed Tuesday that it is partnering with Quest Software to provide a joint data backup and recovery management solution. Bocada said its Bocada Enterprise application, which provides information on backup volume location, will be bundled with Quest's Recovery Manager for Exchange. Bocada said the combined solution will shorten recovery and electronic discovery times for Quest customers. Size of the deal was not disclosed. Bocada is a privately held company backed by Catamount Ventures, Guide Ventures, the Madrona Venture Group, Partech International, and Second Avenue. Quest Software is a California-based supplier of IT management software.
