Omeros Names Mann to Board of Directors

Seattle-based biopharmaceutical firm Omeros Corp. reported Wednesday that it has appointed David A. Mann to its board of directors. A 20-year veteran of the biotechnology industry, Mann will chair the board's audit committee, Omeros said, adding that his past experience includes serving as executive vice president and chief financial officer at Immunex before and during its acquisition by Amgen. Omeros said he also held senior financial positions at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. In addition to Omeros' board, Mann currently serves on the board of directors for Trubion Pharmaceuticals, on the advisory board for Western Washington University's College of Business and Economics and on Western Washington University's Foundation Board.
