Bag Borrow or Steal Expands Into Sunglasses

Bag Barrow or Steal, the online retailer of designers handbags and jewelry, said today that it has expanded into sunglasses. The firm said that it will begin offering more than 100 styles of eyewear from 25 designers. Bag Borrow or Steal runs a service which allows its customers to rent handbags, jewelry, and now, sunglasses. The firm said it would charge anywhere from $25 to $200 each month for renting each pair of sunglasses. Bag Borrow or Steal is backed by Hilltop Investments, Impact Venture Partners, Kuwait Holding Co., Madrona Venture Group, Steelpoint Capital Partners and Valence Capital. The firm is based in Seattle.
