Captaris Considers Vector Capital Bid

Bellevue, Washington-based Captaris said Tuesday that it has confirmed receipt of the unsolicited bid by Vector Capital for the firm. The firm said it would "carefully consider and review" Vector Capital's proposal, along with other proposals. Captaris has tapped RBC Capital Market and Credit Suisse as advisors, along with Perkins Coie LLP and Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP.
