RIPL Names Execs, Board
Seattle-based RIPL, which is developing a service which pushes content to multiple social networking and other social websites, said today that it has made two new hires and appointed a number of advisors to the firm. RIPL said that it has appointed Rob Green as Senior Vice President of Business and Corporate Development, and Russ Ryan as VP of Software Engineering. In addition, the firm said that it has appointed Nils Lahr and John Bauer to its board and Don Maggi to its board of advisors. Green was most recently at Nine Systems and Microsoft; Ryan has served at RealNetworks and also at Microsoft. Board member Lahr is the former co-founder of iBEAM, founder of VXtreme, and is now heading up Synergy Sports and Lexicon Digital. Bauer is the former EVP of Nintendo America. Maggi has a background in the music industry.
