PopCap Ports Chuzzle To SNAP Mobile

Seattle-based PopCap Games, a publisher of family-friendly computer games, announced earlier this week that it will adapt some of its popular mobile Java titles to the SNAP Mobile platform. Developed by wireless telephone manufacturer Nokia, SNAP is a mobile Java gaming platform that handles middleware and technology, hosting, maintenance and online community management. PopCap said its award-winning Chuzzle game will be the first title to be redeveloped under the multi-game agreement. PopCap noted that the Chuzzle multiplayer version will feature chat, leader boards and other community offerings, while the single-player version should be available on various SNAP-powered mobile devices by the end of this year.
