Farecast Goes International

Seattle-based Farecast.com, which provides airfare pricing predictions and other travel services, said today that it has launched international predictions on its service. The firm said it will provide free international airfare predictions for more than 200 markets. The new coverage includes cities and countries in Europe, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Canada. Among the cities now included in its coverage are London, Rome, Italy, Puero Vallarta, Mexico City, Vancouver, Winnipeg, Calgary, and many others. The firm's expanded service also includes the addition of international hotels to its hotel search services. Farecast is venture backed by Greylock Partners, Lux Capital, Madrona Venture Group, PAR Capital Management, Pinnacle Ventures, Sutter Hill Ventures and WRF Capital.
