Farecast Raises $12M Series C
Seattle-based Farecast said today that it has raised an additional $12.1M in a Series C funding round, led by Sutter Hill Ventures. Farecast, which provides airfare prediction services through its web site, said that new investors included PAR Capital Management, Pinnacle Ventures, and current Farecast board member and Expedia CEO Erik Blachford. Existing investors Greylock, Madrona Venture Group, and WRF Capital also participated in what the firm said was an oversubscribed round. Farecast said that the funding will go towards additional technology and product development. The round brings the company's total raised to $20.6M. More information »
