Keiretsu Forum Northwest Invests $17.4M In 2007
The Pacific Northwest chapter of angel group the Keiretsu Forum reported late last night that the firm invested $17.4M in 2007, the group's second year operating in the region. The Keiretsu Forum Northwest said that it invested in 23 companies in the Puget Sound region last year. The groups said the additional investments bring the total number of companies invested in by the chapter to fifty-five companies. The Keiretsu Forum is an angel investment network with chapters in Seattle, Bellevue, Portland and Boise; the branch is an offshoot of a larger organization headed in the Bay Area. The group's latest announced investment was in Earth Class Mail in early January.
