Microsoft Buys Jellyfish.com

Microsoft said this morning on its Live Search blog that it has acquired Jellyfish.com, the Madison, Wisconsin-based discount shopping service. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Microsoft said that the technology from Jellyfish has "some interesting potential applications" for the firm's Live Search services. Jellyfish is known for its reverse auctions of electronics, clothing, household items, and other products.
