ZenZui Names CFO

ZenZui, a start-up company that has developed a free, Web-browsing application for mobile phones, announced today that it has hired Michael Vernon as its chief financial officer. Vernon, the company said, boasts more than 20 years of financial operations experience and will help lead ZenZui in this fall's beta rollout of its software. Prior to joining ZenZui, Vernon served as chief financial officer at aQuantive Inc. from 2000-06. He held a similar position at Red Lion, Zenzui added. Based in Seattle, ZenZui recently closed an initial, Series A round of financing worth $12 million in from Oak Investment Partners and Hunt Ventures.
