Alexa Rolls Upgraded Search API

Amazon.com's Alexa Internet subsidiary has launched a new search service targeted at web developers, the firm said Wednesday afternoon. The new service allows search developers to retrieve complex queries and large number of search results from the firm's web search engine and web crawling services. Alexa said that the new version of the firm's Alexa Web Search service allows for the retrieval of up to 1 million search results from a single query, which is useful for developers creating their own search engines. According to Amazon, the Alexa Web Search services replaces the company's current Alexa Web Search Platform service.
