Bocada Unveils Newest Version of Software

Bocada Inc., a developer of data protection management software, announced Tuesday that it has released an updated version of its flagship product, Bocada Enterprise 5. The company said its revamped Enterprise is designed to analyze and consolidate information gathered from multiple platforms and data protection environments. Added features include enhanced reporting capabilities, an updated visual interface and an upgrade to SQL 2005. Bocada said its updated software can protect more than 30,000 application and backup servers per deployment, in some cases. Bocada Inc. is a privately held company headquartered in Bellevue, Washington, and is backed by Catamount Ventures, Guide Ventures, Madrona Venture Group, Partech International and Second Avenue.
