Redfin Drops Property Review Site

Seattle-based Redfin is discontinuing its "Sweet Digs" property review site, under pressure from the Northwest Multipl Listing Service, the firm said Friday. "Sweet Digs" was a blog and email newsletter that reviewed individual homes for sale as part of Redfin's online real estate services. According to Redfin, it is discontinuing the reviews in order to comply with rules from NWMLS that prohibit the advertising of other brokers' listings. NWMLS had threatened to limit Redfin's access to its listings service. Redfin launched the "Sweet Digs" property reviews in December.
