SinglePoint Taps UK Firm For SMS Voting Technology
Bellevue, Washington-based SinglePoint said today that it has partnered with a UK-based interactive multimedia services provider, Mobile Interactive Group (MIG). SinglePoint said that the partnership will enable it to use MIG's mobile technology platform, which includes a high speed SMS voting platform, in the United States. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. SinglePoint will use MIG's technology to process participation competitions, quizzes and alerts services. SinglePoint is a provider of mobile messaging services targeted at content owners, with a focus on entertainment, interactive TV, and mobile marketing. The firm is backed by Ignition Partners, Intel Capital, Madrona Venture Group, Northwest Venture Associates, Rally Capital and SeaPoint Ventures.
