Avenue A Razorfish Takes On Rich Internet Applications
Seattle-based Avenue A | Razorfish, an online interactive marketing firm, said today that it has launched a new solution that focuses on rich internet applications. The firm said that its services are able to handle tracking of complex rich internet applications, in terms of mouse-overs, hovers, and video interaction. The new offering addresses the emerging issue of tracking pageviews, which is becoming increasingly difficult as developers begin to adopt techniques like AJAX and Flash to design web sites. AJAX and Flash-based sites often allow users to navigate and use web sites without triggering a traditional advertising "pageview", making page view statistics unreliable for advertisers. Avenue A | Razorfish said that its web-based solution can track all rich internet applications and formats, and is adaptable to major Web analytics solutions.
