Volantis Expands Device Database

Mobile device database developer Volantis has expanded its coverage to include more than 4,000 mobile devices, the company announced Wednesday. Volantis said its device database, which provides optimization of content for mobile carrier and content providers, has doubled in the past 15 months, with some 150 new wireless devices added on a monthly basis. Volantis is headquartered in Seattle, and provides products used to render video and other content on mobile and handheld devices.
